Earlier I was brushing stripper onto the chairs I’m working. I was standing right next to the hummingbird feeder when I heard one fly up behind me. Well after he flew around me a few times, I decided to get the camera. I was literially stand a foot away from the feeder. As long as I didn’t move too fast he didn’t seem to be bothered by me. The lil fella even posed for me!
Then he would fly up to the tree and watch me for a bit. Then big mama came along….
She wasn’t overly thrilled about me being so close, or maybe she didn’t like the camera. I’m thinking its the camera she didn’t like, because shes used to me being out here on the patio, she rarly flies off anymore when I move around unless I move to fast or make to much noise. Once I got those 2 pictures she went on here way.
Then lil stud muffin here decided he wanted to pose some more after I moved away from the feeder….
And thats where he is still sitting watching me type away. He has flown off a few times, but comes right back. I’m thinking I made him feel like a star and now he has a ego! lol
