Yesterday I was able to sneak up on the groundhog that lives under the neighbors shed. I’m not sure if it is the same groundhog as last year. I’m thinking it may be a male, there hasn’t been any babies this year. I wish I could have zoomed in more, he has the cutest face!!

Here is another critter that has been hanging around the last few days….

The night before last, I had been sitting out on the back patio. When I decided to go in, I was stopped dead in my tracks as I was reaching for the screen doors handle because I seen something big, blacks with long legs on the screen door. I backed up REAL fast like for fear that whatever it was would jump on me. I did not have the patio lights on, so the only light was coming from the kitchen window. Anyways, after Hubby came out and caught the big black thing in a mason jar (with a lid!!) I was able to get close enough to see what it was. I didn’t get a picture of the thing, but we did look it up on the internet and here is what we found………

Creepy looking huh? Look at that beak that it can stab you with!!! My skin is crawling as I sit here and type!!!

Now to leave you with something that won’t make you run away, screaming lol….

She really didn’t what her picture taken, and wouldn’t sit still long enough for me to get a good one…

My Hubby’s new toy……..

He couldn’t wait to play with it!!

Yesterday, My Mom called and told me to come over to get my birthday gift. My birthday isn’t until the 19th, so I wondered why she wanted me to come get it right then, I asked if it would melt or something and she said hmmmmmmm, well maybe and giggled.

Well my first thought was that maybe she was at the grocery and seen a really pretty cake and bought it. I wasn’t sure what to think, so I headed to her house. Once there, the first thing I had to do was give Benji (mom’s yorkie) a treat. No one can walked into my mom and dads without giving Benji a treat, if you ignore him he jumps up and down and runs around like a chicken with his head cut off till you give him a treat, spoiled I tell ya!!!

So after Benji gets his treat and is happy, I head into my Moms computer room, where I see a decent size, box. She had it angled so you couldn’t see the picture from the doorway. Anyways she pointed to the box and said, there’s your birthday gift, I want you to open and use it now. At this point, I gave her an odd look wondering what she meant by “use it now”, then I grabbed the box and turned it around and this is what I got………

WOOT!!!!

I had mentioned a few weeks back that I’ve been wanting a Shark Steam Mop, or a Combo floor Vac/steam cleaner, because of having hardwood floors through out the whole house, using a regular vacuum was almost pointless, and sweeping with a broom seems to take forever and we wont even talk about using a mop!!!! Having 5 pets means ALLOT of sweeping and mopping!

Anyways, it didn’t take me long to figure out what she meant by “use it now” lol. She ordered it online and wanted to make sure everything worked the way it should in case it needed to be returned. I said, sarcastically, yeah right you just wanted to come clean your house lol . But we did put it together and added a little bit of water and used it on the bathroom sink and around the bathtub. From the few minutes of using it, this thing works GREAT!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

So now I have a new toy, I don’t have to use any chemicals, so therefor saving money on cleaning products, that’s always a PLUS!!!

Now which room do I start in???………..
